Beeclip Community Guidelines

We want Beeclip to be a fun, free, and creative place where people can share their passions. We want it to be a safe and relaxed place, where our members respect each other and behave appropriately. To support our aims and describe what we mean, we have produced these community guidelines. The guidelines outline some common-sense rules to help ensure that Beeclip is a friendly and enjoyable place for all of our users. Be Careful...

• Your postings, videos, photos, images and anything else you clip or upload to Beeclip must be your own work and not copied from anyone else or, if you include anyone else's material, you must have obtained their permission to do so. This includes any music.
• The sharing of files or the playing or showing of them in public could be in breach of copyright and it is your responsibility to make sure they aren't infringing third party copyright.
• There are good reasons why we ask for your date of birth when you register with us. Some content on Beeclip is only intended to be viewed by users over a specific age and this site is not suitable for under-16's.
• If you see any links to third party sites, please understand that we, Beeclip, do not endorse anyone else's websites or services and have no knowledge or control over what is contained on such sites. Please use your judgment before clicking through to such sites and engaging with others. If you want to post links to third party sites, please ensure that this is permitted by the conditions of use displayed on that site.
• Currently, Beeclip is intended for personal (non-commercial) use only, so please don't advertise or promote your products or services or those of others on this site.

Be Nice...

• We encourage you to comment on your own and other members' scrapbooks. Any views and opinions expressed by Beeclip users do not reflect those of Beeclip.
• Any comments or activities which constitute harassment or offensive are not in the spirit of Beeclip and will not be tolerated. They should be reported to Beeclip as soon as possible. You can contact us here.
• You are responsible for any content uploaded, submitted or posted by you onto Beeclip – please consider how your content or submissions may be perceived by others and do not upload, submit or post any content which:
  • is offensive, obscene, unlawful, indecent or pornographic;
  • is inaccurate, defamatory or libellous;
  • is harassing, threatening, abusive, hateful or otherwise likely to be harmful to those persons likely to use Beeclip;
  • promotes gambling, alcohol, tobacco products, ammunition and/or firearms;
  • is racist, sexist or homophobic or degrades someone on the basis of their religion, age or disability;
  • contains inflammatory religious or political content or hate speech;
  • is intended to exploit or harm children; or
  • is otherwise illegal or encourages a form of illegal activity such as cruelty, violence, vandalism and fraud.
• Do not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

Be Safe...

• Your name and contact details are never knowingly displayed by us to the public. Don't post anything onto your scrapbook that makes you identifiable or contactable by a stranger. This includes mobile phone numbers, addresses or places where you like go out. We do not endorse members asking each other for this kind of information.
• While Beeclip offers you a way to connect with like-minded people through social networking, please be careful who you add as a friend. We do not recommend that you meet anybody in the real world who you have only met online, and certainly not alone.
• Remember, these are public spaces. If you've opted to make a scrapbook public, it will be available for other users to view and share, so please don't post anything you wouldn't want everyone to know, or which might embarrass you later.
• It's important to respect other people's privacy, so make sure you have the consent of all the people you feature in any video or image you either submit or use, and don't post personal details about other people.
• Please respect other members of the Beeclip Community and note that accessing or attempting to access the accounts of other users is not permitted in any circumstances.
• You must not attempt to bypass or interfere with any security features of the Beeclip Website, its servers, or its networks, or attempt to transfer files that contain viruses, Trojans or other harmful programmes into the Beeclip Website.

Be Vigilant...

• User scrapbooks are not moderated and Beeclip is not responsible as author, editor or publisher of any user content submitted to us. However, If you become aware of anything which you think may violate the Beeclip Terms of Service and/or these Guidelines or wish to complain about any content on the Beeclip Website or believe any of your rights have been violated, please immediately report the activities or content to us by clicking on the 'Report' link located on the dock after clicking the clip in question on the scrapbook (You must be a registered user to use this function). You can also report a violation through the "Contact Us" pages.
• We investigate all complaints and reserve the right in our sole discretion to decide whether any content violates the Terms of Service, these Guidelines and/or the spirit of these Guidelines.
• We may reject, edit, moderate or delete any content which we consider to violate our Terms of Service, these Guidelines or the spirit of these Guidelines. We may also elect to suspend or terminate access to the Beeclip Website and/or amend or delete a user profile and account without notice. If any of your content is removed, do not re-submit, post or otherwise upload it. We also reserve the right to permanently ban anyone whose account has been deleted from registering for any further account.

Changes to these Community Guidelines

We keep these Community Guidelines under regular review and We will place any updates on this webpage, so please regularly check that any content uploaded, submitted or posted by you complies and continues to comply with both the letter and spirit of these Guidelines.
