What is Beeclip?

Beeclip is a fun and creative place where you can create amazing scrapbooks. A Beeclip scrapbook is a unique way to collect and share your digital photos and videos.

How much does it cost?

Nothing - Beeclip is free to use. The basic Beeclip service will always remain free of charge. We may introduce premium features in the future which will require payment.

Are there any technical requirements?

You will need a modern web browser with Adobe Flash Player version 10 or greater installed (most computers will have this). Beeclip scrapbooks do a lot of fun things with photos and videos which can be quite hard work for a computer, so a recent model with a good internet connection will give you the best experience.

How do I get started?

If you're not a member, click the ‘Try Now' button on the home page to create your first scrapbook, otherwise click the 'New scrapbook' button on the Your scrapbooks page.

You will then be taken through the Beeclip Automagical process – a fast two-step wizard that will design a unique scrapbook just for you. Once your scrapbook is created, you can then tweak and refine as much as you like.

What are clips and where do I get them?

Clips are images and videos that you put into your scrapbook. There are a number of ways that you can gather your clips. You can upload them from your computer, import them from other services (e.g. Facebook, Flickr, and YouTube), or use the Beeclipper to clip them from around the web.

What about privacy?

When you create a scrapbook, it is given what we call an ‘unguessable' URL – it's made up of a number of random letters and numbers. If you share the link with someone, they will be able to see the scrapbook without logging in.

For extra privacy, you can edit the settings and turn off sharing – this means that only users you specifically allow access will be able to see the scrapbook. You can manage this list of viewers (and editors) in the collaborate settings.

How do I share my scrapbook?

After you've created a scrapbook you're going to want to share it with others. On the scrapbook buzz page you will see options to 'Like' on Facebook, Tweet, and share by email. You can also just copy and paste the link into an email or instant message.

Can I work on a scrapbook with somebody else?

Yes you can. Open the 'collaborate' window and you will be able to add editors by their Beeclip username or email address. They will receive an email letting them know that you've invited them to collaborate. Unfortunately our collaboration technology isn't perfected yet - editing the same things simultaneously will cause a problem, but we're working on improving that.

How do I make my scrapbook show up in Discover?

The Discover section is a great place where you can share your scrapbooks with other users of Beeclip. To do this, edit the scrapbook settings and check the ‘Scrapbook is public' box and choose a category. Your scrapbook will then appear in the relevant category in the Discover section.

How do I get in touch with Beeclip?
